THANK YOU. OK, THIS STRATEGIC PLAN SPECIFIC RESULTS ARE DIVIDED INTO FOUR YEARS OF IMPLEMENTATION. SO WE'RE CURRENTLY IN YEAR FOUR.

YOU HAVE YEAR FOUR GOALS AND THE EIGHT SPECIFIC RESULTS THAT WERE EMAILED TO YOU EARLIER TODAY. BUT WE WILL GO THROUGH THOSE AND THERE THEY ARE.

BUT WE WILL ADDRESS MOST OF THOSE TONIGHT.

AND THE CURRENT PLAN IS TO GIVE YOU AN UPDATE ONCE IN THE FALL AND TWO TIMES IN THE SPRING. SO LET'S JUMP RIGHT INTO GOAL NUMBER TWO.

WE WILL POSITIVELY SEEK INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS CURRENT AND FUTURE GROWTH.

THIS SPECIFIC RESULT IS IDENTIFY THE TYPE, QUALITY AND LOCATION OF SPACES TO SUPPORT THE DISTRICT'S GROWTH AND ENROLLMENT.

SO IN EARLY NOVEMBER, WE PASSED A TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE POINT SEVEN MILLION DOLLAR BOND.

PROJECTS INCLUDE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THREE NEW CAMPUSES, ALONG WITH OTHER RENOVATIONS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW CAMPUSES WILL SUPPORT THE DISTRICT'S ENROLLMENT AND THE DISTRICT'S GROWTH. CONTINUING ON WITH THAT SAME GOAL TO SEEK INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS CURRENT AND FUTURE GROWTH.

EXPAND COURSE OFFERINGS TO INCLUDE ACCELERATED, ADVANCED, CUSTOMIZED AND VIRTUAL COURSES.

IN JULY OF 2020, WE COMPLETED TWO ONLINE ACCELERATED SUMMER COURSES, BUSINESS INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION.

REALLY BUSY IN AUGUST OF 2020, AND WE'VE IMPLEMENTED FIVE NEW CTE COURSES AND ONE NEW AP COURSE.

YOU CAN SEE PICTURED ABOVE ADVANCED FLORAL DESIGN, READY SET TEACH, DUAL LANGUAGE BROADCAST MEDIA PROGRESS, PROJECT BASED ENGINEERING INDEPENDENT STUDY, GOVERNMENT AP.

AND THEN JUST A QUICK REMINDER, OUR E-SPORTS, WHICH WAS A CLUB LAST YEAR THAT'S ACTUALLY TURNED INTO A COURSE THIS YEAR.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, OUR INCUBATOR COURSE FORMERLY KNOWN AS ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

SO THE LOTS OF GREAT WORK, LOTS OF GREAT OPPORTUNITIES, AS YOU CAN SEE PICTURED ABOVE.

ALSO OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF FROM SPRING, FROM LAST SPRING, FROM MARCH INTO AUGUST THIS YEAR, WE'VE BEEN SUPPORTING TEACHERS THROUGH VIRTUAL LEARNING.

SO SOME OF THE THINGS THAT HAVE JUST OCCURRED ARE WE TRAINED OUR STAFF IN SCHOOLOGY THROUGH SUMMER PD, ALSO THROUGH THE INNOVATION SUMMIT TO EQUIP THEM FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING, SHORT TERM REMOTE AND FACE TO FACE INSTRUCTIONAL OPTIONS.

THE CNI TEAM DEVELOPED DIGITAL CURRICULUM FOR PRE-K THROUGH EIGHT VIRTUAL LEARNERS AND ALSO ALIGNED THE APEX CONTENT THROUGH THE FRENSHIP SCOPE AND SEQUENCE.

FOR THIRTY ONE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL COURSES.

VIRTUAL LEARNING, PARENT INFORMATION AND A PARENT ORIENTATION HAVE BEEN POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE TO EQUIP OUR PARENTS.

TRAINING FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING TEACHERS AND SPED RESOURCE TEACHERS REGARDING OUR DIGITAL PROGRAMS AND OUR PLATFORMS. AND FINALLY, OUR VIRTUAL STUDENT ORIENTATION AND EXPECTATIONS FOR HOW DO KIDS ENGAGE AND HOW DO THEY COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR TEACHERS.

SO LISTED ABOVE THOSE TWO PICTURES ARE JUST TWO EXAMPLES, A SECONDARY EXAMPLE OF A SCIENCE TEACHER DOING AN EXPERIMENT.

AND THEN ONE OF OUR FANTASTIC KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS ALSO DEMONSTRATING A PROJECT TO HER STUDENTS VIRTUALLY.

SO IN CONTINUED EFFORTS TO RECRUIT HIGH QUALITY EMPLOYEES OUR ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF HR RHONDA DILLARD PARTICIPATED IN MULTIPLE VIRTUAL JOB FAIRS THIS PAST SPRING AND IS SCHEDULED TO ATTEND SOME JOB FAIRS THIS COMING SPRING.

THE HR DEPARTMENT ALSO MANAGES THE FRENSHIP EMPLOYEE EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND PROGRAM.

FRENSHIP STAFF HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE TO THE [INAUDIBLE] FUND EACH YEAR.

THE MONEY GOES INTO THE [INAUDIBLE] ACCOUNT AND IS USED TO HELP FRENSHIP EMPLOYEES THAT ARE IN NEED. LAST YEAR WE GRANTED 20 OF THOSE REQUEST AT TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS.

IN EFFORTS TO RETAIN TEACHERS.

WE'RE PROUD TO PARTNER WITH THE FRENSHIP FOUNDATION WHO SPONSOR THE TEACHER GRANT PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP FUND INNOVATIVE IDEAS THAT WILL ENRICH STUDENT ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, AS WELL AS HEIGHTEN THE EDUCATION EFFORTS OF OUR TEACHERS.

THE FRENSHIP FOUNDATION FOR LEADERSHIP LAUNCHED A SIX WEEKS VIRTUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN IN SEPTEMBER OF 2020 WITH THE GOAL OF RAISING FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR FRENSHIP TEACHER GRANTS.

THROUGH CORPORATE GIVING AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT.

THE FRENSHIP FOUNDATION EXCEEDED THAT GOAL AND CONCLUDED THE CAMPAIGN AT ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE POINT THIRTEEN PERCENT, RAISING A TOTAL OF FIFTY TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS. TEACHER GRANT RECIPIENTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN DECEMBER OF 2020 AND FUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE SPRING OF THE 2021 SEMESTER.

IN ADDITION, YOU CAN ALSO SEE PICTURED ABOVE ALL [INAUDIBLE] ENTERING THEIR FIRST YEAR OF TEACHING WILL PARTICIPATE IN OUR FIRST YEAR TEACHER ACADEMY, WHERE OUR LEARNING IS TAILORED TO THE NEEDS OF OUR FIRST YEAR TEACHERS IN OUR DISTRICT.

THEY'RE A PRETTY FANTASTIC GROUP RIGHT THERE.

LASTLY, AN EFFORT TO RETAIN OUR EMPLOYEES LAST YEAR, FRENSHIP WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE AN AVERAGE TWO POINT FIVE PERCENT PAY RAISE FOR OUR TEACHERS.

AS WE MOVE INTO GOAL NUMBER SEVEN, WE WILL CAPITALIZE ON ALL COMMUNICATION METHODS, IMPLEMENTED MENU OF COMMUNICATION TOOLS TO INCREASE PATHWAYS WITH ALL STAKEHOLDERS.

FRENSHIP IS COMMITTED TO KEEPING OUR STAFF AND OUR STUDENTS AND OUR PARENTS INFORMED ON CHANGES MADE TO THE 2021 SCHOOL YEAR.

THE REOPENING GUIDES WERE CREATED WITH INPUT FROM ALL STAKEHOLDER GROUPS, INCLUDING ACTION TEAMS COMPRISED OF DISTRICT AND CAMPUS LEVEL STAFF, AND FOLLOWING THE GUIDANCE, OF COURSE, FROM CDC AND TEA, FRENSHIP DEVELOPED THE REOPENING GUIDES CUSTOMIZED FOR ADMINISTRATORS, TEACHERS AND PARENTS.

THE GUIDES COMMUNICATE THE OVERALL PLAN FOR SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY REOPENING SCHOOLS IN PERSON AND ONLINE.

THE REOPENING GUIDES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PRINT FOR ADMINISTRATORS, DIGITALLY FOR TEACHERS AND ON THE DISTRICT WEBSITE FOR OUR PARENTS.

IN ADDITION, OUR FANTASTIC PR DEPARTMENT HAS WORKED TO ENHANCE AND STREAMLINE CURRENT CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION, SUCH AS REMIND, SKYWARD MESSAGE CENTER, SCHOOL MESSENGER AND THE WEBSITE. A NEW TOOL THAT WAS INTRODUCED THIS YEAR FOR COMMUNICATION IS CALLED THOUGHT EXCHANGE, AND THE THOUGHT EXCHANGE WAS USED TWO TIMES THIS FALL TO GATHER FEEDBACK FROM STAKEHOLDERS. JUST AS BEST PRACTICE, WE WILL CONTINUE TO UTILIZE THE USAGE OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS FACEBOOK, TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM.

SO SINCE MARCH OF LAST YEAR AND IN COLLABORATION WITH OUR CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION, WE DEFINED OUR CURRENT CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION FOR OUR STAFF, OUR STUDENTS AND OUR PARENTS. SO AS YOU CAN SEE PICTURED ABOVE, IT'S AN EXAMPLE OF THE ENGAGEMENT TOOLS PROVIDED IN OUR REOPENING GUIDE, AND IT OUTLINES THE USE OF THESE TOOLS FOR OUR STAFF AND OUR STUDENTS. AGAIN, JUST A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO OUR PR DEPARTMENT.

THEY JUST WORK CONTINUALLY TO KEEP US ALL, TO KEEP THOSE GUIDES UPDATED, TO KEEP US ALL MOVING FORWARD. AND SO FINALLY, THE DISTRICT HAS FOCUSED ON ENGAGEMENT TOOLS FOR OUR VIRTUAL LEARNING STUDENTS AND PARENTS.

OUR DISTRICT CRISIS COUNSELOR, AMY SMALLWOOD, HAS PARTNERED WITH OUR CAMPUS COUNSELORS TO DEVELOP SOCIAL EMOTIONAL RESOURCES AND SUPPORT THAT HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE DISTRICT AND CAMPUS LEVEL WEB PAGES UNDER THE COUNSELING SERVICES.

CAMPUSES HAVE PUSHED OUT COMMUNICATION ABOUT THESE RESOURCES TO OUR VIRTUAL FAMILIES THROUGH REMIND ONCE A SIX WEEKS.

SO WE CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES AND CHANNELS AND TO ADJUST TO NEW CHANNELS TO KEEP OUR VIRTUAL FAMILIES CONNECTED TO THEIR HOME CAMPUS AND IN HOPES THAT THEY STILL FEEL A STRONG PART OF THE FRENSHIP FAMILY.

WE'LL CONTINUE TO MEASURE THESE RESULTS THROUGH ENGAGEMENT METRICS AND ADDITIONAL CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION AS NEEDED.

AND YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE 15 INDICATORS THAT WE'LL GO THROUGH AS WE GO THROUGH THIS REPORT. THIS IS OUR FIVE YEAR HISTORICAL DATA.

OF COURSE, THE YELLOW BAR THERE INDICATES TO THE 2019, 2020 REPORT THAT I PROVIDE TO YOU TODAY, WHICH IS BASED ON THE 18 19 DATA.

THERE ARE FIVE RESPONSES THAT ARE YES, NO RESPONSES.

AND SO NUMBER QUESTIONS ONE THROUGH FIVE AS WE GO THROUGH THE REPORT WILL REFLECT THAT.
