THIS INCLUDES STUDENTS WHO JUST GRADUATED LAST MAY, CURRENT SENIORS WHO WILL GRADUATE THIS SPRING AND SEVERAL JUNIORS WHO TOOK THE TEST AS SOPHOMORES, OF THE STUDENTS WHO RECEIVED AP SCHOLAR AWARDS, NEARLY 70 STUDENTS EARN THE AP SCHOLAR WITH HONOR AND THE AP SCHOLAR WITH DISTINCTION.
TONIGHT, WE HAVE ADVANCED ACADEMICS COORDINATOR NICHOLAS COPLAND TO HELP US RECOGNIZE THESE STUDENTS.

WE HAVE OVER 160 STUDENTS THAT WERE ABLE TO ACHIEVE THIS.

EVERY STUDENT UP HERE HAS TAKEN MULTIPLE AP TESTS.
IF YOU'RE NOT AWARE, AN AP TEST IS A COLLEGE LEVEL TEST THAT IF YOU GET A THREE OR ABOVE YOUR GUARANTEED COLLEGE CREDIT AT ANY TEXAS INSTITUTION AND MANY INSTITUTIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY GIVE THAT CREDIT AS WELL.
WELL, THEY DIDN'T JUST GET ONE OR TWO THREES.

WHEN A NEW FAMILY ENROLLS AT FRIENDSHIP AT THEIR CAMPUS, THAT PARENT HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO OPT IN TO BE NOTIFIED BY A CAMPUS AMBASSADOR.
AND IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO, THESE ARE THE PARENTS THAT THEN CALL THEM AND HELP WALK THEM THROUGH THEIR NEW SCHOOL JOURNEY.
AS FRIENDSHIP CONTINUES TO GROW AND ADD CAMPUSES, WE WANT TO HOLD ON TO WHAT MAKES FRIENDSHIP SO SPECIAL.

HAVING THAT EXTRA RESOURCE SO THAT OUR NEW FAMILIES FELT WELCOME TO HELP EASE SOME OF THAT WORRY OF JOINING A NEW CAMPUS AND TO REALLY JUST BE A RESOURCE FOR THEM.

THE KIDS HAVE TO DEBUG THE TRACTOR AND DRIVE IT.

IT'S REALLY NEAT TO SEE THEM WORKING ON THE TRACTORS AND TRYING TO DEBUG IT AND FIGURE IT OUT, AND THEN THEY HAVE TO GET IN IT, WHICH MAKES ME NERVOUS AND DRIVE IT.
